Order Header EFF update

Summary:

we have a PROD fix needed for few sales orders struck in orchestration, for which we need to update EFF with a value at Order line and order header EFF's
we tested this in UAT using Salesorder rest API, but this is creating a new order revision

Please suggest a way how to update EFF, without creating a order revision.
