delete customer site

Summary:

we have a customer site created wrongly in Fusion. we want to delete it and push correct site again through interface from r12 to fusion. so we deleted the site Address from fusion front end from customer data management → organization screen. even though its not showing up in front end now but the backend table still shows the site and blocks new site import with error. is there a trash folder which still holding up the deleted site details and needs to be cleaned for it to be dropped from backend as well?
