How can we merge two similar profiles to collate the information?

Customer Ask:

Candidates generally forget to add information or want to add information a couple of days after they apply so they come to the external site again and apply as a fresh candidate with all remaining details using a different mail ID. Basically, personal information can be edited but Talent Profile updates are not supported by Career Site.

In this case, if the recruiter performs a duplicity check and finds another similar profile - The merging of profiles will only enable us to retain one profile and delete the other one however customer is willing to club the profiles so none of the information is missing out.
