Split Eloqua form into multiple sections and save progress

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone in the community has had experience implemented alternative solutions for the following scenarios:

1. Split a long form into multiple sections on a landing page to provide a better user experience when filling out the form. My current thought is create groups of form fields, then apply the custom script on the landing page to display one group of fields at the beginning and display the next group through a transition button ('Next', for example). I'm wondering if there are other creative ways anyone has tried before.
2. The ability to save the progress of a long-form so that a contact can come back to the form and submit the rest.
