Oracle FAH allows for a maximum of 30 Number columns in the Transactions Lines file

edited Sep 30, 2024 10:51PM in Account Reconciliation

Oracle FAH allows for a maximum of 30 Number columns in the Transactions Lines file. We have a need to capture different Premium, GST, AU State-Based Duties/Levies Amounts in separate columns in order to meet Suncorp’s accounting and reporting obligations.

Can you please advise what other options have if they use up all 30 Number columns and have additional number-based fields that they need to capture in Oracle FAH in the future?

Note that AU State-Based Levies are different by AU State and can change (new levies added) therefore we need to allow for future growth.
We are aware that Oracle provides 100 Character columns, 10 Date columns and 5 Long Character columns in addition to the Number-based columns, which cannot be used for this purpose.

Howdy, Stranger!
