Can we change a receipt date after entering?

Summary:

When changing the receipt type, it reverts the date back to the current date and this is hard to notice/catch sometimes.  Then we have to reverse and re-enter.

1)To check if it possible to change receipt date after entering

2) To check is it possible to have receipt date blank by default

3) Once we save the receipt, can we do the modifications later that?
