Element that will process Negative Dollars & Hours

I am trying to create an element that will process a negative for both dollars & hours to offset Regular Wages & Regular Hours.

Setting up a simple PTO Element with Reduce Regular Earnings flagged checked is starightforward as we still want to pay these dollars/hours out. It replaces Regular/Prodcutive Earnings.

How should I go about creating an element that we don't want to pay out, and reduce dollars & hours from the Salaried EE. The current element I have will reduce the dollars and not pay the associate as desired, but will overstate hours as its adding hours and not subtracting hours. E.g. Salaried EE 80hrs, with 80 hrs of Unpaid Leave, Net Pay is zero but Hours is 160 Hrs instead of 0 hours.
