Supplemental Table Field Limit

Oracle provided a doc (https://support.oracle.com/cloud/faces/DocumentDisplay?_afrLoop=148482720158841&_afrWindowMode=0&id=1774521.1&_adf.ctrl-state=8ug4jhla_86) which indicated "supplemental table may contain up to a maximum of 25 columns.". But this doc was last modified in 2017, and we currently have a Supplemental table with over 40 columns and it seems to work fine.

Can someone please help us confirm if there is any column limit? Or where can I find more up to date resources? Thanks.
