How easy is it to set up ODA to interact with absence (request, approve, query) on 24c?

I'd like to exploit ODA more fully and would like to know how complex enabling an ODA skill to request, approve & query absence is in 24c as I understand ODA has been improved in 24c? Similarly to query net pay and other routine tasks. I've no access to an instance right now and want to validate my thinking that, from the documentation, this looks pretty straight forward
