Can I make an Academic Year 'Time' dimension in OTBI?
Asking for a colleague
Hi all,
I need to show workforce trends over time by Academic Year e.g. 2023/24 = 1 September 2023-31 August 2024.
I have successfully made time series (calendar year, month) Headcount reports using the Workforce Management - Workforce Trend Real Time subject
area columns/fields in the 'Time' and 'Workforce Trend' folders. XML attached.
However, I need to show trends by Academic Year and cannot work out the logic to group particular months from 2 calendar years; the 2023/24 academic year would span 2 years e.g. 1 September 2023- 31 August 2024; the 2022/23 academic year would span 1 Sept 2022 - 31 Aug 2023 etc.
Has anyone had a similar issue or are able to advise?
