How to know whether the PO are archived?

Hi Experts,

I'm drafting a SQL for a report that our end users will be able to retrieve their approval history.

While there are 2 tables having the PO information: PO_HEADERS_ARCHIVE_ALL and PO_HEADERS_ALL

May I know from where I can understand our current system setup on how long the PO forms will be archived?

Also, it looks like the 2 tables are having distinguish data - for those PO details that are in PO_HEADERS_ALL, they are not in PO_HEADERS_ARCHIVE.

Does it mean that when I need to pull out all the approval histories, I need to do UNION on the results joined with PO_HEADERS_ARCHIVE_ALL and PO_HEADERS_ALL respectively?
