Payment Processing for Concurrent Absences in Payroll

edited Oct 17, 2024 12:21AM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 1 comment

Summary:

Our Client is having a requirement where in if they have concurrent absences such as LOA / FMLA, we want to calculate the number of other Absence
Hours that should reduce salary. For e.g. If LOA Hours is greater than number of hours of other absences, then deduct the excess from salary. What's the best practice to process concurrent absences through Payroll in such situation. Are there any Fast Formulas that can be leveraged or the process with in payroll that can meet this requirement?
