Maximum number of properties that can be added as monitored activity fields in the activity history

We need to know how many fields or properties we can add as monitored activity fields in the activity history. Is there a limit? Currently, we have 114 properties added and we also want to know if adding more properties, around 25 or 30, could affect the performance of the instance.
