Maximum Grade Step Rate is getting updated on the Salary when offered salary is more then max rate

Summary:

We have setup enabled in Core HR to enforce the maximum grade step rate. We are observing that the Maximum grade step rate salary is getting updated on the pending worker assignment by default when the offered salary rate from Oracle Recruiting cloud Job offer is more than the the max rate of the grade step. We have also observed that when we correct the salary rate on the pending worker assignment and then do following process, we see a difference in the system-

  1. After correcting the salary rate to correct value we use the action quick convert - Adjusted salary gets updated on the employee assignment
