What is the best way to transfer balances between entities in TRCS without manual entry?

I have a situation where a customer wants to rename or reclassify their entity in the existing TRCS application. From what I understand, the standard approach is to create a new entity and discontinue the old one. However, we face a challenge when it comes to transferring the balances to the new entity. While there's a copy configuration option by entity, it doesn't allow us to select a target entity.

Is there a way to transfer the balance from one entity to another without having to enter it manually through Smart View or using Data Management? Additionally, what is the best method to discontinue an existing entity in TRCS?
