How to keep consistent Supporting Reference configurations?

Hi there,

We have the supporting references set up in two different environments.

There is a difference in the number of supporting references in each environment, but there are two that I care about which are being used in a report, and these two appear to be set up the same besides the Number column (example below).

However, in one environment, the supporting reference is in XR9 column and in another, XR7 column. Is there a way to control which columns these configurations get assigned to (such as through the order of which each supp reference is set up, or the Number)?
