Is it possible to translate the field value of the "Activity" field from the Activity Object?

Summary:

In the Activity field (LOV Lookup-Type: ZMM_ACTIVITY_FUNCTION_TYPE_CD) from the Activity Object, the Lookup-Code is displayed in the UI (Screenshot), instead of the meaning, as it is for all the other fields. We need to display this field value in different languages (German, Italian, French). Is there a way to make this happen?
