Receipt accounting date different than clearing date

Summary:

The receipt has been cleared on 30/09 while the accounting date results to be 01/10, postponing the accounting from September to October. Also, I can see that the receipt has been manually reconciled to a statement line with date 30/09. I was expecting the accounting date to correspond to the clearing date. Which can be the reason why it is not like that? Please note this is happening the last day of the month
