Post 24C HCM extracts are not effectively multi-threading

edited Oct 25, 2024 2:48PM in HCM Extract

Experts,

We are observing a curious case when even after giving PROCESS CONFIG GROUPS with 16 and 32 threads, when actually subprocesses fire, almost all of them finish within seconds it seems without actually doing any heavy lifting. One single subprocess seems to be running & doing all the processing. Before the refresh, the same extracts have run in minutes but now it seems there is something weird going on.

Have you faced anything like this?

I found some related threads:

Any guidance would be really appreciated.
