hi all

we have an dns name , lets say crocodrile.com.

when we created an machine on oracle cloud and the vcn uses dns , the machine automatically gets a dns name "machine.subnet.vcn.oraclevcn.com" from the dns resolver.
If we want also the accesed as "machine.crocodrile.com" , what will be the solution

  • shall not use dns on the vcn , and create the machine on the internal zone of the vcn ?
  • shall i use dns and create the machine as an alias of the machine.subnet.vcn.oraclevcn.com ?

Howdy, Stranger!
