Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

The intercompany segment is not available in Chart of Accounts and there is a Future Segment available (3 char). The Company Segment is 2 characters. Now the business wants to use Future Segment as Intercompany Segment by adding the values same as Company Segment Values (2 Char) keeping the existing Default '000' value for Future.

Question 1: Can we enable the future segment as intercompany, keeping the default '000' as is since we don't use it anymore?

Question 2: What is the impact of these changes on the previous and future transactions if it is available to be done?
