BAI2 file is not importing data into interface table correctly

in Receivables & Collections

Hi,

We have a requirement where the BAI2 file received has 4 digit receipt batch name however the recommended format has it 3 digits.

So, while loading the file, it picks up first 3 digits and the rest of the fields are pushed by 1 digit. This affects the data populated in say transit routing number, Account with wrong data.

How can we handle this?

I tried updating the values through ADFDI it did allow me to modify. So, need why interface table is not picking the data?

Using REST API's would be more effort. so, if you have any workarounds to handle this please share your inputs.
