Gratuity Accrual and EOS Payment Mismatch in Oracle Fusion
Summary:
We are facing an issue in Oracle Fusion where the Gratuity Accrual Balance and the End-of-Service (EOS) Payment is not match for an employee in the Fusion Payroll.
Example Scenario:
- Current Basis Salary: 10,000 AED
- Hire Date: 28/Oct/2024
- Termination Date: 06/Nov/2029
Expected Behavior: In the November 2029 payroll, the Gratuity Accrual and EOS Payment should both be calculated as:
- Gratuity Accrual = 34,785.68 AED
- Gratuity EOS Payment = 34,785.68 AED
Actual Behavior: However, in the November 2029 payroll, the system is showing the following:
- Gratuity Accrual = 34,636.60 AED (This amount is lower than expected)
- Gratuity EOS Payment = 34,785.68 AED (This amount remains as expected)
Q. Why the Gratuity Accrual is different from the EOS Payment?
