How to remove Create Sales lead button in redwood

Wanted to know if removing these two privileges in a custom job role will take away Create lead button from redwood list page for sales leads or
removing first one only will take away that button in redwood list page for sales leads and the second one continue to give the create lead ability only in old workspace but not in redwood list page ?
