which ID to use when adding a resource to the sales account team

Summary:

I have created a DCL field from which a resource can be selected. Subsequently, the selected resource has to be added to the sales account team automatically. I am using the following documentation a base:

However, when I use the CustomField_Id_c field as the input for the resource I get a blank entry in the Sales account team. Which ID should I be using when adding a resource to the sales account team?
