How to access the standard stage field in Lead Module of CX Sales

In the Lead Module of CX Sales we have Stage as field with API name SalesTargetLeadStage, when we are trying to select any Value from the field and click on Save, It is getting blank again

I have checked the documentation and Support but found nothing related to setup for this
