Is there a way to remove 'Field Service' from Work Order Type list of values?

Summary:

When creating a maintenance work order from an internal help desk request (i.e. work request), you are required to enter the work order type. The options to select from are Corrective, Preventive, and Field Service. If you select Field Service, the work order will not show up in the Manage Maintenance Work Order page since that work order type is not used in Maintenance Management. I want to know if there is a way to remove Field Service from the list of values when creating a work order from the work request to prevent the issue downstream in Maintenance Management.
