How to change the status of a child lot?

Hello, the lot is divisble and can be split. I am trying to create a movement request. Not all the quantity is picked. the requirement is to obtain 2 statuses, one for the picked quantity and other one for the damaged quantity.

can this be achievable with the child lot?
