How to make payments of old invoices

Summary:

How can we make payment for old invoices and credit memos whose due dates are way back in 2019-2020.

We need to create PPR. We have changed the due date of the invoices to today' s date.

While creating PPR in Dev1 & Production, it is getting terminated with the status - No available installments.
