SMTP Relay Configuration and Security Audit

Our customer is seeking information regarding SMTP Relay Configuration and Security Audit for a security assessment project. The questions are as follows:

1. A comprehensive map and documentation of external email relays, providing a complete view of email flows within the organization.
2. Detailed documentation of all routing rules and relay configurations used within the email infrastructure.
3. A report containing the results of open relay tests for all SMTP servers, including any identified vulnerabilities and the steps taken to mitigate them.
4. Detailed documentation on how each identified application and service uses eventual open relay, including configuration details and flow diagrams if necessary.
