OCI: Unable To Create Update Job for OSMH Instance "Invalid managedInstanceIds"

Symptoms:

Unable to create an update job for OSMH instance. Getting below error:

Observability and Management » OS Management Hub » Instances » Select an Instance » Click Create update job

Invalid managedInstanceIds. Creating Scheduled Job for Instance ocid1.instance.oc1.<OCID> assigned to a group is not supported.

Cause:

The instance is part of a group. An update job cannot be created to a specific instance which is part of a managed instance group.

Solution:

For instances which are part of a group, the job needs to create with below steps:

  1. Open the navigation menu and click
