Supplier Lead time in Drop ship process

Summary:

I have couple of question related to Lead times in drop ship process.

Currently, for Drop ship orders for a particular supplier the SSD derived is 1 day, the date after the customer requested date.

Business said the lead times for few SKUs has been modified to 10weeks and requested to update the lead times so that it reflects while deriving SSD on SO.

Where should the lead time update happen?

Question1: Which lead times setup are considered for Drop ship process.

A. Manage Transit times

B. Item attributes at planning: Processing Days

Question2: Let's say lead times are updated either in transit times or Item attribute level.
