Difference between Deductions and Settlement and Customer Channel Management

in Channel Revenue Management

Hi,

Quick an easy question. I am struggling to understand what is the difference between Deductions and Settlement and Customer Channel management.

They are having 2 separate user guides and 2 separate icons to access. But when I access to both I get the same screen and data.

Is Deductions and settlement just part of Customer Channel Management? And is only used for non promotional claims (created from AR) whereas Customer Channel Management is for both Promotional and Non Promotional Claims?

Please let me know if my understanding is correct or not
