Decimal Truncation in Core HR Salary Screen Post Transfer

edited Nov 16, 2024 3:10AM in Compensation 1 comment

Summary:

We have identified an issue in the "Transfer Workforce Compensation Data to HR" process. In the compensation plan, rounding is not applied; instead, the worksheet display is set to show up to two decimal places. However, when data is transferred to Core HR, we observe that while the transfer itself is accurate, the display in the Core HR salary screen truncates the number at two decimal places.

For instance, if an increment of 23.26981 is transferred and the original salary in Core HR is 20, the new salary displayed in Core HR appears as 43.26. This discrepancy occurs despite there being no rounding rule applied in Core HR, with the decimal display configured similarly to the compensation worksheet. However, in the compensation worksheet, the same amount is displayed as 43.27.

Howdy, Stranger!
