reports wrong member selection on POV

Im experiencing whats for me is a weird behavior when selecting members on the POV of a report.
Problem: Wrong option of members on the selection list of a POV

So here is my Period dimension.

And on my report Im using Bottom members of YearTotal

And here is what I see on my selection list

The expected result for me was to see only the 12 months. And when I search Jan it would only show the member Jan.

If I try something different like using Expect (YearTotal, Children of YearTotal):
