Goal:

Attempt to register an Instance with OS Management Hub (OSMH) fails with error

“Error: failed to start plugin:[oci-osmh] err: Failed to start plugin: Please ensure all prerequisites for this plugin are met”

Cause:

Possible corruption when dnf upgraded the OCA package.

Run the command below to verify the sudoers setting on the instance.
As shown in the below output, there is a line etc/sudoers.d/100-oracle-cloud-agent-users.rpmnew

.rpmnew means that there was a possible glitch or corruption when dnf upgraded the OCA package.

$ grep OSMH etc/sudoers.d/*
