Succession Plan - What does the Status of a candidate in a Succession Plan do?

Summary:

We would like to know what impact does the status of a candidate have in a Succession Plan.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hi experts,

when we go from My Client Groups → Succession Plans → select a Plan or create a new one, in the Candidates section we can add or edit Candidates.

We can then set the status to Active or Inactive, but we can't find the implication of this choice; on Oracle Docs it doesn't specify the purpose of this attribute, how does it affect the plan? What if all the candidates are Inactive?

Thanks, Giuseppe
