maintenance work order material return receiving

Currently once we return the issued material in a work order, the the returned issued quantities automatedly reflect on the on-hand and inventory transactions.

is there's a possibility to have a step in the middle where the materials returned can be received in the dedicated warehouse, and create a receipt for these materials ?
