Recurring element end date upon termination date modification

Summary:

We have a recurring element with Latest Entry Date as Last Standard Process Date.

The termination date of an employee with this element entry was updated from 7-Oct-2024 to 7-Oct-2025.

We were expecting the element entry end date which should be updated to 31-Oct-2025. However this is not happening.

Any suggestions ?
