During the Merge process, where the impacted Transactions are getting stored?

Hi,

We have an option to merge one customer (ABC) with another (XYZ). After the Customer Merge Process, the Merged customer (XYZ) is reflected in the already created transactions under customer ABC, for example, AR Invoices.

Where are the impacted Transactions stored during the merge process? We would like to know the details. Thank you.
