Difference from invoice line cancellation to complete invoice cancellation

Requesting of your great support consulting the difference of canceling invoice lines to completely cancel the invoice.

Since I have had problems in the way these 2 actions act as in this example

Accounting periods: I have all accounting periods closed in AP and only one in future (Dec-24).

I have 2 invoices INV-001 and INV002

The invoice INV-001 has date 01/09/24 and when trying to cancel it sends me an error because the periods are closed (This is clear to me and it is the duty to not allow to cancel with closed periods). The invoice INV-002 has the same date 01/09/24 but it cancels the line of the invoice allowing the cancellation but sending the accounting date to the period in future that is until Dec-24 (From this scenario I can not understand why if you cancel the line and send the accounting date to the period in future that is wrong and I
