Reservation error

Hi,

Scenario:

  1. The on-hand quantity for the item is 11, but the sales order was created with a quantity of 15.
  2. "Allow partial shipment of lines" is set to "No."
  3. The sales order was submitted, and the scheduled ship date is 900+ days from now.
  4. The sales order line errored out during the reservation step with the message: "A reservation wasn't created because the reservation quantity is more than the available-to-reserve quantity."

Question: Shouldn’t the system have errored out during the scheduling step instead of the reservation step?
