Hello - I realise this question has been asked before (example here) and that Oracle Docs have been written which cover the issue, such as:

• You cannot cancel this invoice because it would reduce the quantity or billed amount on the purchase order to less than zero. (AP-810228) (Doc ID 2496915.1)
• Cancelling Invoice Throws Error "You Cannot Cancel This Invoice Because It Would Reduce the Quantity or Billed Amount on the Purchase Order to Less than Zero" (Doc ID 2773273.1)
