Constrained Supply Planning: SO demand to consider for MAKE, Forecast demand for BUY

We have this Business requirement for Constrained Supply Planning. Looking forward for your suggestions.

Business Case:

They need Planned orders for Make items to be generated based on Sales Order Demand and for Buy items they want it to be generated based on Forecast and not sales orders. Basically, the MRP items are Made to Stock and MPS items are Made to Order. We are in Process Manufacturing and not discreet

Our Approach:
