Car and Car Fuel in-kind Benefit processing after termination- UK Payroll

Summary:

Hi,

We have a requirement to process Car and Car Fuel in-kind Benefit after termination. In this case, there will not be any earnings to process (Gross Pay =0 ) but benefits should resolve so that it can be reported on FPS and HRMC can take care of less tax deduction.

We have observed that after termination in-kind benefits are not processing when there is no earning to process. When I am adding irregular earning with amount as zero then benefits are getting processed.

Can you please suggest how it needs to be processed?
