How to extract data from Fusion using Groovy

Summary:

Instead using built-in integration, i would like to use other web service connector(For Fusion) and using that connection name in Groovy, would like to extract specific intersection of data from Fusion.

Is it possible? If so can i get a sample code?

Basically, exploring towards auto reconciliation between Fusion and EPBCS.
