The information from 'request more information' is not transferring into Oracle

When an employee completes the 'request for more information' task after accepting a job offer, it's not transferring back into Oracle. Any idea why that might be? This task is also not marked as mandatory, so some aren't completing it. Is there a way to Mark this as mandatory?
