Added new Parent for existing members.Will we be able to get the data by default?

We have added a new parent for the existing members in the Entity Hierarchy. We are looking for a way to get the data under the new parent by other than running Consolidation. Please let us know if we can get the numbers in any other way without having to run Consolidation for any year. Thanks in advance.
