delete all data related to a business unit from Oracle ERP Cloud

We have a requirement to delete data related to one of the entities in our Oracle ERP Cloud Instance. The instance hosts multiple entities, but we want to delete all data related to just one entity. Not just GL data but all P2P data, HCM data as well.

We have looked at various documentation but couldn't find anything specific to this requirement. Has anyone done these kind of activities before.

Currently everything points to creating a fresh instance and copying config/data of entities which we want to retain to the new instance but this will be lot of work. we are looking to see if there are any other easier options.
