Removing an asset number from hierarchy

Summary:

Hi,

On the Asset Hierarchy, when using the remove icon to remove an asset from the parent, the removed asset becomes inactive (end dated), the quantity is changed to 0, and it can't be used and the Work Center on the asset number remains the same.

How to enable the asset again to be able to use it on a different asset?

What is the process of this, why is it behaving like that? is that a bug?
